Our superheroes, THE HYBRIS, are back again with their in-your-face attitude, killer sound, and bold message with the intention to make the world a better place. Their latest release, “Celebrate the Good Times,” with its stern statement, showcases their characteristics and why they’re a one-of-a-kind rock band.

We’ve featured THE HYBRIS in our magazine more than once before, and you can find our articles about their previous releases here. The trio of disguised heroes—Ringo Rabbit, Beanie Bison, and Malcolm Mandrill—unify from various locations, put their musical prowess together, and present explosive sonic phenomena.

“Celebrate the Good Times” is another smash hit to be added to the band’s rich discography. The single flawlessly highlights their artistic identity: the intense sensibilities, the assertive, engaging performances, and the introspective theme. Each element is noteworthy, and they all work together to get one hooked and fixated on the message.

As the act drew their moniker from the Greek goddess of violence, pride, arrogance, hubris, and outrageousness, they know how to theme their sound and lyrical content to fit that. With a sarcastic tone, the single criticizes the privileged for their ignorance and arrogance. They surely sharpen their pencils’ points to write their introspective, realistic lyricism.

Despite the irony, they’re depicting such a gloomy reality. However, the composition spices up the atmosphere with enticing grooves, catchy, stinging riffs, head-hitting drumming, and stormy melodies. The blend of rock, punk, grunge, and even pop gives a strong, irresistible flavor that makes you feel seamlessly immersed in the balanced, tense, yet elated realm. And the husky, charismatic vocals with the gritty timbre surely tighten the taunt with the vibrancy.

It’s mesmerizing to have such an output from a band in one studio, so what these guys do—working together from a distance and still releasing solid work—is indescribable! Enjoy the fast, furious, and pumping “Celebrate The Good Times.”
