After a long career with several bands and prestigious labels, Tikka began working with MTS Records and released a solo EP titled “Working Class Voodoo” under the name Tom Tikka And The Missing Hubcaps. Following the global success of his Christmas classic, “Just Like Xmas (Love Is War),” Tom released the “That’s What Winston Churchill Said” EP, including multiple Top 5 iTunes worldwide hits, in January 2021. Last month, his album “This Is My Happy Face” was released which includes his #2 iTunes chart single, “Heart’s On Fire” currently at #83 on the US Mediabase Activator chart. Well, with such impressive achievements you as a listener get provoked too to know to listen to his music. ‘With Eyes Closed’ is like any other track in this record, A MASTERPIECE! In fact, when I received his submission, I was gonna focus on this one only, but since it was surprisingly impress, I was curious to listen to the other ones in this album too. Each track of this album is unique, and has a singular state indeed. For example; when you check ‘With Eyes Closed’ you will be stunned by the beauty of the orchestration and how it’s beautifully arranged. What I really loved here is how his vocals perfectly aligned with the strings and orchestral atmosphere. ‘Doormat’ is giving a special rock flavour starting smoothly and going very energic and melodic perfectly. The same goes for each track over here, you will find it unique, well written, and a masterful mix! Well, this album is one of the few that I rated as 10/10, definitely deserves it indeed. Now, it’s not just time to listen to music, it’s time to check new masterpieces! Enjoy!
