As soon as you push play on “Weighing”, the music fills your ears with the catchy strong guitar strikes of Los Angeles-based musician, Micheal Fordays. He wastes no time to jump right into a topic that explores an old romance, with lyrics like “I remember ashes and diamonds. Beauty and pain. Nothing’s ever what it seems, so hold your feelings lightly.”

But we’re not holding our feelings back as we listen to “Weighing”, an alternative-indie rock track, which features Fordays on vocals, guitar, and bass, while Dave Klein handles drums and keyboards. From his upcoming album “The Odds of Magic”, “Weighing” is brimming with elements of reminiscing and trying to put the brakes on your feelings when your partner seems to not be ready yet for the full story.

Fordays has been playing the guitar from a young age and has always been passionate about rock music. He played in various garage bands when he was in high school, before touring the globe and recording six albums. His name is actually Mike Jensen, but he earned the nickname “Fordays” because of his “work ethic and non-stop drive to create, record, and play music”.

You have to listen to the very end to hear a striking guitar solo that leaves you yearning for more. The song will be released on all platforms on August, 30th, and we can’t wait to listen to the whole new album “The Odds of Magic”. Best of luck to Fordays!
