The Washington DC based alt-rock band Avery and Ella is now Lud Roes…and with this, we’re welcoming their much anticipated single “Waiting for B”…a groundbreaking powerful song that will cause tremors with its powerful presence, heavy riffs and explosive drum beats.

The name change comes with the evolution of the band becoming a trio…and what an evolution this has been.

“We’d been wanting to change the name for a while” says Ella “This is the coolest way to announce this…” says Avery. ” We want to celebrate changes and growth and the spirit of caring collaboration in the underground world of the music industry.” says Robzie.

…speaking of which let’s get to know the brilliant band members…Ella G, Avery Petrucci and Robzie Trulove.

“Waiting for B” is a true alt-rock song, leaning heavily on the power of pure heavy rock…excellent heavy and deep riffs, excellent syncopation between the band members playing and a soul capturing vocal performance that really shines in contrast to the heavy music.

The band also drops a music video along the song, directed by Mitchel Worley…and shot during one of the coldest winter nights…and during a seance!

…I think the stars were aligned for that one to happen, that’s why the energy with “Waiting for B” is elevated and on another level.

For all the fans out there of all things heavy, “Waiting for B” is a gem that should not be missed…actually, go check it out now, right now.

Wishing all the best for Lud Roes, can’t wait to see the next force de tour of this band, especially that they have established and solidified with being a super powerful and impactful live performing group. Cheers!
