Through its soulful lyrics and Tess’s jazzy, impassioned vocals, this one felt the most intimate of the four tracks, making you feel the loss she’s talking about and that your heart is “falling to pieces” with it. The guitars are downtuned, like the previous barebones, resulting in jazzy and folky feelings. The melody, combined with what’s like a shadow dancing in the backdrop, causes you to move your body and jam along with them.
The single will be released on January 27th, allowing you to relive the excitement of this duo performing live and lightening the dark atmosphere of the song as they glow with just two guitars, vocals, and sincere feelings.
