Florida-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Justin Turk is starting off 2023 with a bang, releasing his latest alternative rock single, “Truth in Lies,” on April 21st. With a passion for music from a young age, Justin honed his skills on piano and guitar, and underwent artist development training with vocal coach Cari Cole. His musical journey has already seen him win the Gorilla Productions National Battle of the Bands with his band Render Me Useless in 2009, found the children’s party entertainment service “Rattle & Rock,” and win the 2022 SSA music award for Song of the Year with his single “Passion.”
“Truth in Lies” is described by Justin to be about “seeking the truth by looking within, living by the golden rule, and revealing the hidden truth that is shared amongst all religions.” Produced by Asim Rahimov, the song features a blend of modern effects and vocal lines reminiscent of Linkin Park, with instrumentation and song progression influenced by Breaking Benjamin. The result is an energetic and hard-hitting track that features heavy guitar riffs, melodic guitar lines, fuzzed bass, and powerful drums that give the listener an electrifying listening experience. Turk’s vocals are equally impressive, seamlessly switching between clean vocals and screams with his signature charismatic voice.
“Truth in Lies” is a promising addition to Justin Turk‘s growing repertoire, and we can’t wait to hear more from this talented artist. Don’t forget to check out the song now
