Audio Terrorist is back with another dark and edgy experience…this time it’s about the current social media life we’re leading…and also about melting a couple of genres together to give birth to something new…” The Bitter End” is a powerful sonic world, so let’s start exploring…

In 1984, some people came together to express themselves musically, these people are the souls behind the Audio Terrorist name and they are…

Kalib DuArte (Singer/Songwriter/Keyboards/DrumMachine)
Chris Wirsig (Keyboards/Composition)
Tim Leehane (Keyboards/Editing)
Lee Presson (Keyboards)

…with several guest guitarists including Eric Wenger, Tyrone Stanford and others.

Audio Terrorist is based in Seattle, USA and from there they craft musical worlds that has stories and with messages to the world…the world of “The Bitter End” is a melting pot of many worlds, fused together…

…you get the cyberpunk elements…the synth sounds and filtered futuristic arpeggios…
…you also get the heavy and steady electronic beats…
…the thick riffing sound of the down-tuned electric guitars with an industrial feel to it…
…hypnotic vocals from another world…

Every element of these comes into play for a major role in the whole musical experience that Audio Terrorist has created for us to live in for 3 minutes and 9 seconds…

The song could be described as darkwave…however, it’s actually more than the sum of its great parts…let me shed some light on this point…

The verses are dark and edgy…and edgy is something that will always be there…but the choruses, that’s different, it’s actually home to some uplifting melodic highs, in contrast to the dark verses…

“The Bitter End” is a very strong release from Audio Terrorist…if you’re into heavy rock, you’ll highly enjoy it…if you’re into the whole cyberpunk-ish aesthetic, you’ll love it…just remember, close your eyes and enjoy the music.

Wishing the people at Audio Terrorist all the best, we can’t wait for the next releases to see what they prepared for the audiences…

Cheers!
