After a 2-year hiatus, Anthony Krizan returns with a single that takes you back to 70s authentic rock sound. Krizan has a rich history in the rock scene starting with his days as the lead guitarist for the “Spin Doctors” band where he opened for 15 dates for the “Rolling Stones” with enormous audiences. He had the opportunity to play guitar with Jimi Hendrix’s infamous bassist, Noel Redding. He is also an original member of “Amphibian” along with Tom Marshall, the lyricist from “Phish”.
After the major success of his previous album “Dust and Bone”, the artist’s latest single “Strawberry Wine” took things to a whole new level with its authentic sound, well-curated musical details, and a rock ‘n’ roll vibe like no other, as the artist refers to it; a combination of “Prince’s funky pop feel” and “a flavor of The Rolling Stones”. The song was released earlier this month and already has over 8.9K streams on Spotify. It has a wicked guitar line, remarkable progressions, and a brass and horn sound effect that gives it a blues feel. We can’t wait to see what’s next for the legendary guitarist and artist.
