UK-based Bloodtooth is back at it once again, sparking the Halloween season with one new heavy riffing spooky rock/metal hybrid titled “Sirens”…and with some comedic elements too…this is more like a huge stage musical experience.
Looking back at some of the defining movies of the 80s, I remember Ram Raimi’s Evil Dead, it’s horror…sure, but its also a comedy…this is exactly what “Sirens” took me back to, that feeling of mixing elements that rarely comes together, but when its done correctly…it shines.
Being part of Bloodtooth’s upcoming album “Do It For The Kids”…that tells us a lot, like the direction, charisma and diversity of the musical experience that Bloodtooth are about to share with the world.
“Sirens” starts with an 80s drum intro…spanky overdriven guitars…then the first shift and twist mixes things up with vocal screams, heavy guitars and some surprising vocal effect…that could also be seen as artistic exaggeration to aim for more substantial effect from the amazed crowds.
The song is 2 minutes 28 seconds, nostalgic, some heavy riffing and over-the-top performance and presence…full of mojo and charisma…
We’re excited for Bloodtooth for the upcoming album “Do It For The Kids”, can’t wait to see what’s in store for us…and what more surprises are on the way.
Wishing all the best for Bloodtooth.
Cheers!
