Electric High are a band from Bergen, Norway that play a mix of alternative rock and hard/classic rock. And it’s a great blend that brings the coolness of the melodic and cool elements of the old with the sassy heaviness of more modern sounds.

The bassline is groovy, complemented by drums that start and stop with the riffs making it appeal to so many tastes and other genres. As far as the vocals go, the two vocalists intertwine their soaring high vocal lines with the extended riffs of the chorus in a way that depicts their impeccable techniques and their breath support.

The icing on top of the cake was the amazing solo that takes you straight to the 1970s with the number of techniques in it and how it feels long and extended although it’s relatively short.

The outro is slightly different from the verses before it, and that’s how you know these guys like to keep everything spicy and varied. I really loved the composition of the track and its lyrical theme that aligns beautifully with the emotional delivery of its vocals. 10/10 would recommend this masterpiece to people looking for something that mixes the modern with the nostalgic.
