Senshi is a band that needs no introduction in the land of the rising sun. Since its formation in 2018, the group have created a unique blend of ragga metal fused with traditional Japanese instruments. So much so that their first single went viral on Twitter and earned them their first Japanese tour the same year. Senshi‘s debut album followed and established them as a band destined for more success.
Despite the setbacks caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the band is back and ready to take on the world with their latest album “Rise Again.”
“Run Dem Over,” the latest single off their new album is a musical and visual masterpiece that features gory battle scenes with zombies reminiscent of the Evil Dead franchise and they’ll promote it along with the rest of the album on their upcoming tour in Japan.
“We’re thrilled to be back in Japan after such a difficult period,” said Senshi’s lead vocalist, Adam Rakić. “We’ve put our hearts and souls into ‘Rise Again,’ and we can’t wait to share it with our fans. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone at our shows in Osaka, Nagoya, and Tokyo. We have a few surprises in store for you, so don’t miss out!”
Senshi‘s second tour in Japan will kick off in Osaka on April 14, 2023, followed by shows in Nagoya and Tokyo on April 15th and 16th, respectively. The band’s new album and single, “Rise Again” and “Run Dem Over,” can be found on Youtube, while you can listen to the entire album on almost all streaming platforms.
