Kevin Whitaker is releasing his latest single “Rise”…an epic storytelling-hard-hitting hard rock experience with heavy electronic elements thrown in the mix for maximum damage…brace for impact.
Based in the USA, state of Pennsylvania, city of Lebanon…from there Kevin is producing and singing with a unique style and approach…his vocals are full of energy and raw emotions while his music is relentless when it comes to power…his songs are motivational for sure and makes you want to get up and achieve…especially due to the fact that most if not- his lyrics and concepts root from his real-life experiences…and that also applies on his latest “Rise”.
“Rise” is extremely huge sounding…heavy with electro-industrial elements, sharing a bit of DNA with the likes of Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson and Corey Taylor…
The song starts out in a very cinematic fashion…with a very emotional music playing and a kind of lullaby being performed…
…then the left hook from Kevin gets you…taking you from this world and into his own hands.
The story of “Rise” is based on Kevin’s real life experiences of leaving a controlled organization, more of a cult if you will…and the energy it must have taken to remove himself from this organization is palpable in the song.
The production of the song is extremely engaging and of the highest quality, the sounds, effects, instrumentation…excellent…and also from the musical side, it’s very powerful, the verses are already on steroids, then the chorus hits you and it is steroids on overdrive…so there’s no shortage of motivation and energy here…it is impactful.
All of the elements that make up “Rise” are top notch…the emotions, music, production, vocals…and there will also be a music video to go with it, so keep on the lookout, it’s going to release next Friday the 23rd.
“Rise” was recorded in Hollywood California at ‘Secret Hands’ studios, owned by Jeff Friedl.
It was written by Kevin Whitaker with Bradley Denniston as co-writer and also producer.
We wish you guys all the best in the world, you’re awesome and you’re making awesome music.
