A few days ago, the American multi-genre singer-songwriter Edward Selph released his latest track ‘The Pilgrimage’ on YouTube and Spotify.
Well, it’s rare when I listen to a song that I cannot define its style. This is what I found when I checked ‘The Pilgrimage.’ When I heard the flowing guitar tones which ran smoothly in my ears and veins, I thought it’s some progressive tune but when I dug deeper in that ‘Pilgrimage’ there were mixed feelings about it. Indie singing blended with progressive atmosphere and dipping it with post-hardcore/emo beat! No! It’s not a riddle! It’s a real song. For sure, I loved the song with all its harmony, melody and rich dynamics.
