The garage-punk duet Teen Mortgage releases a raw melodic punk tune Such Is Life, which discusses many western society topics like education inequality, toxic pop culture, nationalism, and capitalist greed.

The duo gained reputation rapidly after their formation 3 years ago. Last year, they released their EP  “Life/Death” on the world through Brooklyn, NY’s King Pizza Records. It has since sold out its limited cassette run and album cuts have earned sync deals with Vans Shoes, Evil Bikes, and Showtime series Shameless. In my opinion, these dudes have an impressive impact on the American modern punk scene. The lyric theme is pretty rough and strong: “The acerbic wordplay of “Such is life, so choose life” signals the existential crisis of being coerced into contributing to a societal hierarchy that does not contribute back.” Teen Mortgage explained.
