Today, I am gonna talk about an interesting groovy rock riffs made by the American indie rock band Easy Honey who released yesterday ‘Leo’ from their upcoming album “Maritime Love Affair” which set to be released next month.
Easy Honey consists of dual frontmen Selby Austin (Vocals & Guitar) and Darby McGlone (Vocals & Guitar), Charlie Holt (Vocals & drums) and Daniel Comen (Bass Guitar). After recording in Franklin, TN, the band released their self-titled debut album in May 2018. Easy Honey’s second album Maritime Love Affair is scheduled to be released in July 2020 and will be preceded by a series of singles to whet your palate.
For me, ‘Leo’ is full of all the phenomenal rock elements. When you check the smoothy grove in the intro with clean guitar sounds, it will hit you with the golden decades of rock, and the same when you listen to the smoothy solos, combined with powerful vocals similar style to icons like Smashing Pumpkins, Mac Demarco, and Oasis. ‘Leo’ for the band is their own reflection to their new home base in Charleston, South Carolina.
