Kathy Moore is an iconic American Rock musician who started a new phase in her career through her solo project Kathy Moore Super Power Trio. “Bad Day is Coming” by Kathy Moore Super Power Trio is the second single from her forthcoming full-length album, “I Won’t Let The End Of The World Bring Me Down.” Recorded by Don Gunn (Death Cab for Cutie, Corinne Tucker and her Filthy Friends) featuring Alyssa Martini (Trick Candles, Tobias The Owl) on Bass and Faith Stankevich (Grace Love, Marmalade) on drums with guest appearances by Tim Kennedy (Happy Orchestra), Sean P. Bates (Halloqueen, Medicine Hat), Andy Stoller (Heart), Tracy Chapman, and Robert Denira.

The song is talking about the destruction caused by the latest global warming issues and climate change deadly effects that is why the song is not a happy one but it is a song of weeping and mourning! Starts with horrific ambient sounds followed by darkened guitar sounds (like the intro of Metallica’s One) then mourning-pitched singing. The performance of vocals is taking the sound of the aching Earth! There is various guitar sounds backed by amusing Basslines. In my opinion, the main hero of the song is the performance of the vocals. Moore uses a fusion of clean high pitches with an expressive sense of sorrow and darkness.
