Jean Cabbie & The Secret Admirer Society are trying to create a hard formula with “Paper Doll”, mixing modern music sounds and effects with 80 hard rock and metal creating a unique sound. “Paper Doll” is a hip, upbeat tune at the same time, the main riff and chorus melodies are catchy and gives old school rock vibes, the solo suits the mood perfectly, plus the use of auto-tune and the song’s fun structure all those elements created a super radio friendly sound that would appeal to a wide range of tastes.
“Paper Doll” is a middle ground between classic hard rock tunes and modern pop music that can fit easily in any 2022 playlist, I would expect by proper marketing it can reach a wide range of fans from various ages.
