International band The Hybris once more graces the world with their very unique and charismatic musical storytelling with “On The Day We Met The King”…a rock experience, infused with punk and alternative aromas…give the world a very tasty musical treat that absolutely rocks.

Huge, anthemic and melodically soul-catching…The Hybris‘ latest single “On The Day We Met The King” is the first single from their third and upcoming album, telling a story of another superhero…and they absolutely nail all elements of an instant musical hit.

A groovy beat and rhythm, a catchy vocal melody and powerful guitar riffs…and a stellar vocal performance that is surely to live in your brain for a long time…

…and let’s not forget about the heroic design of the artwork for the song…a cape and super bunny face mask wearing hero figure…a mountainous figure sitting on a throne…the artwork alone tells a story, imagine the song itself.

There are some elements that surprised me to show up in a song that mixes rock and punk…the trumpets!

It is used super creatively and strategically in the song that it feels like it would have never worked without it…and this is brilliant.

The energy of “On The Day We Met The King” is absolutely roof blowing and face melting, it should be experienced by all fans of great and iconic songs, not just the rock fans out there.

One thing that might not be noticed right away about the brilliant and consistency of The Hybris…is that they are international artists…Ringo Rabbit from Germany, Beanie Bison from France & Malcolm Mandrill from the US…and they are 3 superheroes on a mission to save the world with their superpower…brilliant songwriting.

Wishing all the best to The HybrisCheers!
