Sleeptalk’s five catchy elements deliver an ever-evolving sound that has won over many music connoisseurs thanks to their sparkling punk beats and original tunes, and now they bring us their new single “Nordhoff” ahead of their upcoming new album.

These five carry us with each new track and release from strength to strength, as their latest hit “Nordhoff” delivers upbeat indie pop, packed with tons of great acoustic strings that will entice you and rhythmic guitar-based instruments to keep you entertained.

This piece of art is about dealing with each individual’s psychology and how they ideally see their lives online. We all browse the profiles of influencers and what they do most of the time on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter in hopes of spreading like them.

In over three minutes to seconds, Sleeptalk discusses how everyone is obsessed with seeing and following all these “influencers”, believing that they all have a perfect life when in reality everyone has the same drive and wants to achieve this dream in the fastest way possible.

“I’m not a failure, I’m just repeating myself” From the song’s first line the concept and purpose are clear, a direct message that just because something doesn’t work for you as it does for others doesn’t mean you’ve failed because we all have our way and our style which distinguishes it from others.

“Nordhoff” is more upbeat and its message too, the fervor in it that lifts our energy, with the unique sound of high-pitched rock and intensely infectious.

Consisting of Anthony Fitzpatrick, Justin Melchor, Jason Fitzpatrick, Paul McGill, and Malik Dugan, Sleeptalk has grown by leaps and bounds over the years. Speaking of their hopes for the future, the band said: “We hope to get back onto the radar that we were in back in 2019 before the pandemic, and I think what’s happening now with “Nordhoff”.
