Following up their EP “The Unsung”, the UK-based 6-piece rockers Reardon Love are set to release a series of singles starting with “Mr. Nobody” on the 2nd of December, 2022. Based around a poltergeist from Pontefract, and backed by music influenced by “See You Space Cowboy” from the classic series “Cowboy Bebop” mixed with Reardon Love’s diverse influences, they created their very own unique sound on “Mr. Nobody”. The pounding bass filled the intro of “Mr. Nobody” with anticipation, hyping the expectations before the dominant main melody hits. Reardon Love’s instruments mixing and layering are incredible, it’s not an easy job handling those multi-layered melodies while still keeping the structure’s fluidity. The catchy vocal melody pushed the song’s dynamics forward with its fluid pop-ish sound and beautiful harmonies, those harmonies added a deeper layer and texture to that stream of well-mixed and arranged melodies that’s “Mr. Nobody”. “Mr. Nobody” has an overall captivating warm sound, the groovy subtle guitar tone, the atmospheric keys, and mesmerizing vocal harmonies all bond together in a streaming flow with no oddly, overly-done technicalities. The result is one hell of a catchy tune that’ll easily slip into your on-repeat playlist, totally recommended.
