As they tease their debut record “Mother Knows Best”, Bristol-based headbangers Mother Vulture released their latest single “Monster Crunch”, as the last single before their record drops on the 25th of November, 2022. Mother Vulture takes us on a monster ride with heavy riffs, pounding sounds, and big theatricals on “Monster Crunch”. So let me tell you exactly how it sounds.
Mother Vulture opens “Monster Crunch” with a riffing hurricane and unmistakable rocking sound. It feels like Mother Vulture are attacking with full force with thick riffs, fat bass, pounding drums, powerful all-over-the-place vocals, and an overall relentless groove. Things get pretty interesting at the catchy chorus, it has pure punk influences with a tint of SOAD and crazy drumming. As fast as “Monster Crunch” goes, it surprisingly ends with a slower, dense, hard-hitting riff that’ll definitely break your neck. PERFECT ENDING.
Nothing gets me excited about an upcoming record more than a straightforward, catchy, and extremely energetic single, and that’s exactly what Mother Vulture did to me with “Monster Crunch”. Those guys managed to squeeze loads of energy in a consistent structure with perfect dynamics all in a 2:14-minute song! That shows musicianship and good writing skills, making me mark my calendar for the 25th of November to check out “Mother Knows Best” for my Mother Vulture fix, keep on rocking guys, cheers!
