Although, the band has a short career they were able to gather many fans from different regions in the past 3 years starting with their debut EP “DY STO PI A” which was highly acclaimed by critics and fans. Light Up is a very unique tune indeed, I can tell that the band did a perfect blend of styles in just one tune. Despite I am not a hip=hop fan, but I can assure you it was a great addition to the song arrangement along with other elements like rock, nu-metal, and punk. The so is so energetic and actually, this is related to its topic “It’s an upbeat song with a positive message about overcoming challenges and empowering ourselves using our inside darkness to create good.” – the band clarified. Anesthetic Youth is a band composed of multicultural individuals. Zang is from Vietnam, Angelo is from Portugal, Jesus is from Peru and Luis is from the USA. This blend of cultures can be heard in their diverse set of songs. They can be as heavy as a metal band and as soft as a pop band since they clearly explore all of their different musical influences ranging from rock to hip hop and everything else in between but still managing to have their own very characteristic sound.
