LCPD is a heart-hitting, deeply emotional tune from start to end, it has a slow pace that allowed every line and melody to be heard and felt, saturating every note and shift with its dark melancholic sound. The vocal melody played a major role in guiding and setting the song’s vibes, steering its subtle dynamics smoothly to fresh areas that keep the listener hooked without compromising the song’s mood or direction. LCPD‘s production and arrangement are very interesting, dealing with such a multi-layered structure can get really tricky especially when you’re trying to maintain such a gloomy flow and mood, but it felt like it’s organically taking its shape in a solid state with no overdoing as every layer playing an essential role that serves the overall stream of melodies which is LCPD.
