This year, Infernum Expectat released its first recorded track ‘War of Oppression’. Infernum Expectat is an Egyptian Melodic Death Metal band with Progressive Metal touches. Infernum Expectat is going to participate in the upcoming Metal Grinders concert on 7th December.
The track starts with emotional notes of keys followed by the drums for 55 seconds. Starting from 00:56, the instruments start to perform their harmony. The riffs of the track are melodic and darkened; the voice of keys is clear and gives classic progressive taste to music. From 1:53 to 3:44 the riffs start to take more depressed epic atmosphere before the track riffs back as it start in 3:45. Next in 4:25, the musical mood of the band changes to more Melodic Death/Funeral Doom taste which is full of hatred and sorrow. The track in general is a very good piece and a very good start. The only negative point is there are empty 5 seconds in the start of the track and I think it is not the best form of perfection. I wish all the best for Infernum Expectat. Although Egypt is full of Melodic Death Metal bands, Infernum Expectat has their unique style and music combination.
