Sydney-based artist The Walking Who released a banging art rock song called ‘ Halloween on Christmas’ on the 16th of December. The song is very special because of the fact that there are zero western instruments used in it. The walking who likes to say that this song is an ambient punk song with a unique production using a set of eastern European vintage instrument collection given to him by his 70-year-old Czech Landlord.
A very pretty exposure of what is beyond the ribcage, this song is a deep and dark soundscape of hard rock music that is very melancholic and extremely intense. It is seriously not for those who have a faint heart and have a fear of plunging down the rabbit hole. The song is a fast pace with a really heavy drum set which is the only non-eastern instrument used in this musical arrangement, and an echoing electric guitar. The overall sound of the song will really kick off a set of wintery emotions, with a lot of distortion sounds. Empty and hollow feelings will come rushing through but in a very beautiful way. The vocals are steady and full of longing. This is a really cool addition to your heavy winter music.
