Mike by name, a singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer is getting ready to drop his upcoming sci-fi rock opera concept album titled “The Vibe Operator” and he’s been raising the anticipation by dropping his second funky rock single “Feed My Dreams With Funk”. Born in New Hampshire, United States, Mike’s musical journey started in his teenage years when he picked up the electric guitar and never looked back since. He formed his first original band, Taken By Infinity, and recorded his first song at 15. By the time he got to college he was in his second band Fire in the Field, which won multiple New England awards. Sadly in 2009 Fire in the Field lost their lead vocalist which prompted Mike to start taking vocal lessons. In 2013 Mike reunited the band as their vocalist and guitarist until the pandemic took a toll on the band. After the pandemic Mike started his solo career when he moved to New York for a one-year songwriting and production master’s program at BerkleeNYC.
Mike self-produced and recorded “Feed My Dreams With Funk” an alternative rock song with funk elements that result in an infectious and energetic track that will make the listener groove and dance along to it. The verses are filled with funky guitar rhythms and groovy bass highlighted by a guitar and backed by grounding and dancy drums. Meanwhile, the chorus features a sing-along vocal line with a catchy and groovy guitar riff and soaring lead guitars in the background. Before the last chorus Mike showcases his amazing guitar abilities with a melodic solo that leaves the listener wanting more even after its last note.
