Light and Heavy is the first six-strings centric single of the Italian guitarist Marco Pellizzari, aka Fabbro di Chiavi, already available from March 20 on the main streaming platforms and on YouTube with the official video.
The instrumental piece, which stands out for the variety of guitar nuances and for the strong symphonic impact, represents in music the tenderness and harshness of human life, marking the transitions thanks to a strong dynamics and the changing intensity of the melodic line.
The single Light and Heavy was entirely produced in home studio during the covid period.
“I decided to compose music, produce it and promote it, not because it is easy, but because it is the starting point for all the new musicians of today and because the goal of communicating through it serves to field and organize the best of my energies and skills. I believe that this challenge is what every musician who wants to make a statement is willing to accept, and it is the challenge that for me could no longer be postponed.”
Light and Heavy, written and arranged by Fabbro di Chiavi, with the collaboration of his friend and keyboardist Leonardo Barilaro based in Malta and the Pescara drummer Andrea Giovannoli.
Artworks made in collaboration with the Greek artist Falconist. The song was mixed and mastered by acsy.sound and is distributed through Distrokid; from 20 March available on all digital streaming platforms, with official video clip on the Fabbro di Chiavi YouTube channel.
Fabbro di Chiavi, alias Marco Pellizzari, is a guitarist, composer and aerospace engineer born in Asolo (TV) on December 19, 1983.
Engaged in contributing to the realization of earth observation and solar system exploration missions, he became passionate about music from an early age, starting from classical guitar studies to later land on the electric.
Sources of inspiration and study are international artists (Steve Vai, Al Di Meola, Paco de Lucia, Joe Pass, Steve Morse, Symphony X) and Italian artists (Banco del mutual Aid, New Trolls, PFM).
From 2000 to today he has ranged from rock music, to progressive, to metal playing in tribute bands (Genesis, TOTO, Malmsteen and Van Halen) in Italy and Germany, where he currently lives.
During the pandemic he organized the material recorded over the years and decided to give life to the symphonic metal solo project Fabbro di Chiavi, with which he experimented the complete creative process: from the development of the idea to its sponsorship; releasing the first single “Light and Heavy” in March 2022.
An EP is expected to be released in 2022; the goal is to further develop the interaction between guitar and orchestra in a progressive cinematic context.
