Nine O’clock Nasty is not your typical alternative rock band; they’re wild, bold, and not afraid to take risks in their music. They started releasing their music in 2021, yet they were able to establish a powerful platform and lured in a dedicated crowd of over 3k listeners on Spotify only in such a short time with their eclectic musicality. They already released eight singles this year with over 76K streams combined on Spotify only.
Earlier this month, the Leicester-based band released their latest single; “Existential Dread” in collaboration with “I AM THE UNICORN HEAD”, a duo with a mysterious vibe and an eccentric approach whose latest album “Future Dinosaurs”, made it to the best indie LPs of 2022.
“Existential Dread” doesn’t fall under a certain genre or category, but the guitar melody progression is so catchy and highly anticipative to the ears with its motif. The drumline is on point, subtle, and very vibrant, giving the song a strong structure along with the varied and intriguing mix of vocals. The single release is accompanied by a not-so-typical music video that has already reached over 31K views on YouTube.
