The album starts with “Paying Back The Devil”…an unhinged and epic intro to their new album…the heavy rock/punk energy is extremely strong with this one…the guitar-muted riffs are chuggy and when they open up for the chorus…the guitar riffs go on steroids and the vocals creates huge walls of sound…you’re trapped in this absolutely epic track…the drums, guitar fills, vocals and the effects used, the pacing, everything about this track is epic and it’s an absolute-no looking left or right-recommendation…listen to it, right now!
…these guys look like they have fun while doing their great music…you can easily notice that even without listening to their music…just look at their second track of the album…it’s titled “Maleena” Made Us Change The Name Of This Song To Fit In With The Pop-Punk Community”…wooo…that’s a title alright…
What I also like very much about these guys is that even when they’re having fun, they churn out great music…it’s very clear with “Maleena Made…..” that song…because it’s a very OG punk song with lots of energy and rebellious attitude to share around…
The album keeps the punk attitude front and center, even when the rock energy breaks in, it’s still played within the realm of punk…all the way…
There are a couple of songs on the downtempo side of things…not so much, but in comparison to the rest of the album…which gives extra variety to the experience…which is really great from the get go…the first track to this album really captures your soul till the very ending seconds of the album…
