“The Great Rewilding” is the latest EP from the UK-based musical group “Zero Carbon Band”…it just came out today.

Zero Carbon Band is from Carshalton, UK and they are continuing the legacy of the British awesome music scene…

Their latest EP is a rock/pop album with movement, energy and an important message to the world…being eco-minded…this planet is our home…if we don’t keep it safe, it will be a catastrophe…

The album starts with “Our Allotment”, an uptempo song full of energy talking about the allotment culture, which includes a very strong sense of community…

Going into the second song “I’m A Tree”….an infectious melodic pop rock song…it feels like it would have been something the Beatles would sing and perform…once again, it’s talking about the nature around us, specifically trees…and how they perceive humanity with all that demolishing they’re doing to the planet.

“Sinking Sea-Sick Home-Sick Blues” is the tot’s track of this 5 tracks EP…and it’s a more downtempo song…it reminds me of ‘house of the rising sun’…it sounds classic and iconic…it has this kind of soul to it…catchy, won’t leave your mind for a long time.

The fourth song is “Commotion In The Ocean”….and it’s obviously dissecting the huge issue of plastic in the ocean…a faster song than the previous…so it’s once again picking up the pace…and it’s warning us, we need to keep the world safe…the song has a light tone to its lyrics, itself fun and informative.

The EP ends on the title track “The Great Rewilding”.

It’s full of energy…it’s the imagining of an alternative future if we all really cared about nature and about our planet…it’s anthemic and full of positive vibes.

Zero Carbon Band is your eco-friendly rock/pop group that’s making all they can to help the planet and get people together to safeguard this precious little rock that we all live and love on.
