4-piece industrial band Cheree based in Oakland, US released a crazy good alternative rock EP called ‘Factory’, that was released on the 24th of March. The EP will make you beg for salvation from your mind and heart as you go through their special kind of emotional journey with their extreme rock playing and storytelling. Cheree started their musical journey in 2021, with a clear vision for their band’s chunky and harsh sounds along with the magical, ethereal background canvas.
You’re gonna be pumped up with so much good adrenaline with this EP, alongside a feminine anger that is coming from the deep core of darkness and enchanting intense emotions. Something about this album is enchanting in a very dark and glum way. It’s almost like a beautiful nightmare with this exceptional EP. You can feel the emotions pulsating from the music and the artist herself.
The overall sound of the EP under these 6 songs is mostly mesmerizingly dark, painfully emotional and really simmers your blood, moving it to your heart and making you just feel so much. It’s an EP that will easily channel anger, frustration, and fragile human feelings packaged into breathtakingly expressive alternative tunes. You’ve got some spooky, magical sound effects, grunge kind of dirty electric guitar playing, and in many instances a jerky kind of guitar playing too. You’ve also got some very angry and violent vocals. Extremely intense drum set and explosive cymbals, manic and mad kind of energy that is fast-paced. Even with the transition to a much slower pace and cold, bone-chilling vocals, you can still feel the pent-up fire in the vocals. You’ve also got some screeching sound effects that remind us of Deftones’s kind of screaming in between the track. This EP is just what you’re looking for if you want to take out some really disturbing and difficult emotions in a cool way.
