The iconic guitarist Phil Collen (Def Leppard and Manraze) formed a blues phenomenon titled “Delta Deep” in 2012, the band is also featuring Robert Deleo (Stone Temple Pilots), Forrest Robinson (Joe Sample/Crusaders), and the stunning background vocal and theatrical performer Debbi Blackwell-Cook (Michael Buble/Gregory Hines). The band announced for their live CD/DVD “East Coast Live” on January 26, 2018 via Frontiers Music Srl. Here, I’d like to talk about the band’s single which is also presented in a lyric video, Bless These Blues”.

I have noticed most of hard rock/heavy metal guitarists when they go into raw blues sound guitar riff they give you an amazing catchy riff, that hardly gets out of your ears! The lyric video is a combination between live footage and some animated elements for the lyrics. Bless These Blues is a mix of rock n’ roll and soul combined with the blues to give you the ultimate groove.

Mainly, the vocal follows the guitar riffs along with the whole song. It starts with Phil Collen and later join Debbi Blackwell-Cook on next verses. The song delivers a nice harmonic solo and that was for sure expected from outstanding guitarist like Phil Collen.

I’d like to mention that I enjoyed the song mixing too, I can hear all instruments clearly with suitable leveling, which gives you the ultimate eargasm.

The band is releasing their new album “East Coast Live” in January 26, 2018 via Frontiers Music Srl – pre-order. The All Star Group to perform at select dates of G3 tour featuring Joe Satriani, John Petrucci and Phil Collen.
