With their diverse sound and melodies, the American rockers OBLIVEA are back with their new single Deep Inside via Bongo Boy Records. Since their signing in 2020, OBLIVEA has been releasing singles and even applying for Grammy nominations, and Deep Inside is their latests that was featured among various artists on the label’s Kryp II Knight Vol. IV record. OBLIVEA opened Deep Inside with a rocking guitar melody before shifting to a groovy, filled-with-anticipation verse. Their sound keeps progressing gradually introducing some distorted guitars, pushing their energy forward with an escalating significant vocal melody. Deep Inside’s sound keeps getting bigger, with some bluesy shredding being heavily used giving their structure a dynamic push and adding a deeper layer to their sound. OBLIVEA has a bluesy groove mixed with some psychedelic/stoner elements and deep roots in heavy metal, all mashed up with a keen eye for details, good songwriting, and well-knowledge of their direction to create a significant catchy mix.
Deep Inside shows OBLIVEA’s writing skills and clever arrangements. They managed to create a fluid structure with twists and turns without losing their core sound, gradually adding elements at the right time to keep the listener hooked and entertained.
