Italian composer, singer and songwriter Mirko Colombari released his latest single “Citizens of the War” and it’s a very powerful lyrical and musical statement to humanity…an insightful and artistic approach to real life through music…

Born in the province of Reggio Emilia, in Castelnovoné Monti, Mirko began playing the acoustic guitar as a child for fun, then, at the age of 6, he was enrolled in the conservatory, which, for a few years, brought him to the classical music world.

Then around the age of 15, he approached the electric guitar and continued his studies related to Rock.

…at 17 he began composing lyrics and at 20 he decided to also dedicate himself to singing, becoming a singer-songwriter…everything happened so fast for Mirko because of his innate musical talent to create a musical and lyrical experience…

Mirko’s vocal performance on “Citizens of the War” is a very cinematic performance…he sings, acts, tells a story…many colors of vocal performance in one song, this adds so much to the experience and to the storytelling approach that the song is taking.

The music is Rock. Pure Rock. Classical Rock.

…when you think of rock and all of its glory, you’ll think exactly of “Citizens of the War”.

“Citizens of the War” starts with amazing sounding and wide folk guitars, then the electric riffs start to creep it, bit by bit…until the musical explosion with the arrival of the chorus…the drum fill takes us right into the action…the guitar riff hard…the lead guitar soars in the background…synths starts jumping in adding so much flavor…

The electric guitars sound absolutely mountainous, especially when they reach their musical peak in the second part of the song.

Soaring in the background is the lead guitar, licks, fills, melodies, all the awesome little musical nuggets you’d want to find here, is here…

We wish Mirko all the best in his life…we can’t wait to see what the amazing artist has next for the world…

Wishing the end of all wars, wishing the best to humanity.

Cheers!
