Chateau Clink is the latest single by Adam + Attack By Fire and it is a two-minute cinematic and theatrical experience. Blending guitar riffs, a percussive piano, and some layered piano vocals to create a mix of 70s psychedelic rock and prog rock all with a modern flavour.

The track begins with the main piano and guitar hook that will haunt you for days after you’ve heard it, and Adam’s voice shortly follows after it. His ability to sing with the correct timing and interlock his melodies with the odd time signature of the drums has blown me away.

The song has a stellar production, allowing us to hear the beautiful verses and chorus/hook segue into one another and making the vocals ring in your headphones with every lyric making a powerful and stern statement.

Now I can’t begin to describe how this song is simultaneously Classic and traditionally rock-sounding (and especially 70s rock) while still being avant garde and experimental. Its only downside is that it only lasts two and a half minutes, making me hungry for a full album of Adam’s brilliant and genre-bending compositions. I imagine this song will get Adam+ Attack By Fire a bunch of new fans and a bigger following, just like it drew me to listen to more of his music and discover his unique pieces. Cheers.
