After years of being part of the East Midlands music scene, Miles Levy partnered with Graham Jones and started writing music before adding Eddie Giacobbe, Oscar Muto, and Ammar Al-Chalabi to the mix thus, creating the perfect chemistry which is The Levy Circus. On the 30th of September 2022, the 5 guys teamed up with Right Track/Universal unleashing a bluesy sound dripped in Americana on their debut single “Changes” that we’ll be reviewing right now.

“Changes” is one of those songs that you clearly know you’re going to love right from its opening melody as its groovy bass, and colorful guitars will instantly invade your hearing. I loved its smooth melodic flow as it progresses softly and brightly from the mood-setting verse into that mellow yet energetic bridge, then to an upbeat catchy chorus, and takes off from there into a dynamic structure with flowing melodies and perfect harmonies. All the previous was well-arranged with groovy entertaining bass and drum lines, playful guitars with the perfect tone and movements, deep heart-hitting keys, and a powerful easygoing vocal melody, showing The Levy Circus’ good command of their instruments and well knowledge of their direction and sound.

“Changes” is a beautiful laidback tune by The Levy Circus and although it’s their debut single, it says a lot about their musical background and experience. The Levy Circus’ way of arranging and structuring their melodies sets the expectations really high for their upcoming release and their clear sound and direction will make me keep a close eye on them. Keep on rocking guys, will definitely be looking forward to more, cheers!
