When Mountains Speak is the Art Rock/Experimental one man rock project that’s been on a continuous run of beautiful and exotic releases lately. The latest of these releases is called Center Of Infinity, and it can be found on Steven’s youtube channel under the project’s name.

Now the entire recording has jome jazzy sounding drums, an eerie bassline, and guitars that soar with no need for vocals to get the vibes and emotions across.

I love how this recording feels like a freestyle jamming session that’s been morphed into a track, without taking away any of the great bits or commercializing the end product.

By the time we reach the second half of the ten minute track, you begin to feel that some of the layered guitar and bass sounds hitting you with a haunting and horror-ish sound, and it makes the track even more stylish and honest.

On a fun side note, Steven added to the title of the YouTube video that this is his first music recording since his a/c went out…must’ve been awful trying to create such complicated music and ling tracks in the heat of the summer.

All in all, this is a very authentic yet very experimental ten minute experience, which I liked thoroughly for how honest it felt. I recommend you give this a listen with your best pair of headphones and I’m sure you won’t regret it.
