Sometimes, listening to a song that makes us reminisce and feel nostalgic is the best thing that can happen to us all day, week or month even.

That happened to me when I pressed play on Arn-Identified Flying Objects and Alien Friends’ latest single “By Your Bed”.

Where can I start…

How about we start by getting to know this awesome band first?

So, Arn-Identified Flying Objects and Alien Friends hails from the land that brought us melodic music at its finest…Sweden.

…and not differently, “By Your Bed” has all the elements to make it an earworm-catchy-hit.

I can’t stop listening to it.

The song is co-produced by ‘Prince’ of ‘Power Power’ and ‘David Myhr’ who also provides backing vocals and masterfully crafted slide guitar with Andreas Quincy Dahlbäck on drums.

I can’t wait anymore to talk to you about the nitty gritty details of “By Your Bed”…So, let’s jump right into the meat of things…

The sounds in the intro are absolutely brilliant…

That organ…wow…

The shakers…right on point…

The guitars…oh my…

These vocals…brilliant…

At its core…”By Your Bed” has an awesome chord progression, brilliant guitar melody and a perfect melodic and layered vocal performance.

The chorus is more on the bright side of music, with a more uplifting feeling to it…

…on top of that the slide guitar solo is something that just takes the whole experience to another level…as it doesn’t stop at the solo…it continues to support the track even after the solo…adds a lot of depth to the song.

The drums sound and feel nostalgic…yet, energetic, as it drives the track forward with its energy…

Because you see, the song has parts where there are no drums, and it feels just right…

…and other parts with the drums soar and drive everything forward…

These guys know the meaning of “Less is More” perfectly…not just that, but they are masters of controlling the emotions and energy levels of the audience.

I really just want to say…that organ sound in the background…that might be the best subtle choice in music production I’ve seen in a very long time.

You guys deserve all the best in the world, you’re making awesome music, nothing less than that.

Cheers!
