As they clarify their band name it’s from the Arabic language and meaning “hot fountains,” pretty strange really since they are on a different cold side, right? Well, “Biitti” is all about the retro and raw sound that you are missing these days, well, don’t get me wrong, of course, I listen to other great new talents of blues, but what I loved about these dudes is how they were able to present their music in a very original retro mix! You can easily feel it because this is the core of blues, isn’t it? If you’re not sure about the answer then you should check it out below and feel the beauty of guitars, vocals, and arrangement…. and don’t miss the solo! 😉

‘’Most of the time it’s dark and gloomy and when the spring suddenly arrives, things get a bit manic, as people are not yet ready for that light. With some time though, everything calms down for the summer. One could even say that our music is related to the burbling sound of those fountains. In the Finnish language, we would call that type of soundscape as soljuva.’’ – Johannes Bäckman described here their music. And I believe they implement it very well. Finally, I don’t obverse any weak points here for this tune, actually, with their music in general. Give it a shot here and listen to it on their Spotify below!
