“Three More Songs” is what happens when four friends get into the studio together. With an upcoming full length scheduled this fall, the Swedish rocking quartet Big No No dropped their latest EP “Three More Songs” on the 17th of August 2022, including 3 new songs specially written and recorded live in the studio back in 2021 with the help of Christoffer Zakrisson in legendary studio Ingrid and mixed by Andreas Söderlund.

The EP opens with the groovy filled anticipation bassline of “Comeback Kid” and its deep singalong vocal melody before we’re introduced to that energetic guitar melody . I loved how laidback Big No No sounded, as they used some simple yet catchy melodies to create their EP opener making everything look chill and doable. With a more intense and unmistakably catchy guitar melody, they topped their game on “Le Mot Mot Ment“. I loved how the guitars progressed smoothly and heavily while that extremely enjoyable bassline and the extra energetic drums kept the groove alive and kicking. Big No No decided to introduce a new approach on their last song “She’s a Caribou”. Going on with a more mellow chilling flow that perfectly suited their fuzzy guitars and floating groove and gave the vocals more space pushing it straight to the front.

“Three More Songs” is a raw straightforward EP by Big No No, it sounds spontaneous and sincere like this is who we are and this is what we want to do atm and it sounds pretty cool, works as a great brief introduction to the band that made me want to dig deeper into their stuff and mark my calendar to their upcoming releases. Cheers Big No No, looking forward to more!
