Chapell is a singer/songwriter hailing from New York. Though playing mainly rock, we cannot tie Chapell down to one genre! Chapell recently released his new single, “Beyond the Blue Sky”, on the 24th of June. After hearing the song for the first time, I was not surprised that he has almost 8000 listeners on Spotify alone, and almost 1.5 million streams.
The song starts with a super uplifting beat, and very funky drums, which makes it a song that can be played on a beach on a hot july day! Super positive vibe from the song, and touching lyrics. The cover art is a perfect touch to the song, witha beautiful view of some colorful houses and a clear bright blue sky, which is in harmony with the vibes of this song. All in all, I fell in love with this bubbly, lively song and will definitely add it to my summer playlist.
