Alex Wellkers is gearing up for the release of his second album, ‘Fly Away’, on April 6th. The album features 11 unique tracks, each with its own distinct qualities. The addition of violas and violins, inspired by classical music, had a significant impact on the final mix of the album. While rock music effortlessly complements various styles, I find it most captivating when fused with orchestral, classical, and symphonic elements. Typically critical of new submissions, I was pleasantly surprised this time. The seamless blend of his voice with the music left me speechless. While you may have your favorites upon listening to the album, I personally adored the 3rd track, ‘Making’, for its guitars, vocals, background vocals, and classical arrangement – everything about it is truly iconic!

I was truly impressed by his album which caters to a wide range of music enthusiasts. Alex, how did you manage to achieve this? If you enjoy hip-hop, pop, classical, or rock music, you’ll discover your preferred style in this album. It’s a clever choice to offer such a diverse selection. For German, French, and English speakers, rest assured, that Alex Wellkers has included something for everyone.

‘Fly Away’ stands out as one of my top albums in 2024 due to its diversity and the exceptional mix and master presentation. As I always emphasize, budding artists should prioritize production, themes, and marketing strategies. With an emerging rockstar in our midst, it’s an opportunity to take notes from the Swiss master, Alex Wellkers.
