American rock band Damn Renegades isn’t here to play again anymore, they’re totally serious about their latest musical production “Excelsior”. They are re-emerging as accomplished musicians and composers. They pay attention to the smallest details and try to entice listeners with catchy, simple rhythms and high-quality sound with rock-influenced 60s and 90s vibes, giving us a great aural meal.

In over 20 minutes, this team has created engaging tracks, influenced by the rich heritage of Thin Lizzy, Led Zeppelin, Alice In Chains, and Smashing Pumpkins. And she manages to combine technique and melodies that can stay in your head for a long time. The variety of guitar solos is beautiful, and the rhythmic designs are flawless and give just the right energy to the tracks.

The album begins with the song “Blitzed” which hits the album, when you start and feel like you want to headbang, to ALTERNATIVE ROCK carried by the thrusts of the guitar and the pouring of drums, it’s a frenetic and heavy song. The drumming continues with “Silver Sinking Sand” n a post-grunge guitar-focused feel that gives the song all the special touch you’ll love and the country sound.

The next song, “Skinwalkers,” has a sound very similar to that of the American rock group Alice In Chains, but with a more dramatic melody and deeper vocals that serve to set the song’s full tone. The track “Red and Blue” comes in a more cool and completely different style, similar to the style of American rock bands Velvet Revolver and Queens Of The Stone Age. It was faster in both instrumentation and vocals, but the guitar’s notes are still loud and sparkling.

This pattern continues through to the end of the album with rock music, lots of guitars, and strong drums. So in “Parasite”, you feel like you’re not finished with the song that precedes it, as it keeps the whole concept of the album.

Their music allows you to get rid of all the negative vibes, so if you are looking for musicians who are keen to keep the rock music with strong songs and performances, they are the best Damn Renegades.
