A+ A A-

Black Hole, as I feel, is one of the rare concept songs in the Egyptian music scene. Through the call of freedom that Simplexity were trying to deliver to

their audience and every human on Earth with a very obvious verse in the intro;

"Salvation of soul and mind
Freedom for those in kind"

What attracted me while listening to this song; is the musical riffs between the verses which are full of melodies and accompanied with unique acoustic-nylon guitar riffs that are based on the vocal line and the concept of the song itself.

My heart beats grows faster with drums through the verse;

"Guidance was meant for me
Unlock this slave in me"

Chained and walking in the queue following the orders, and no one cannot help me to set me free. This is the message - that I felt - through that verse, in which I am telling that despotic I am not under your control anymore...

In the bridge, I had absolute no hope seeking for help and wishing for control:

"Stay, don't take me away, I'm falling down from your grace
High, in the sky I'm drowning, in the notes that fall down like rain"

But now; that hole, am trapped in, completely cuts me:

"This hole, is breaking me apart
In and out..."

I am ruptured, falling down. I see death in my eyes and totally scared; this is the very unique message through the song's solo which guided to the end of the song. And hoping...

"Don't let me stay for long..."

I think; SimpleXity is one of the very unique talented expressional progressive bands in Egypt and Middle East that I have ever seen. Now; I am waiting for the album "Click to Start" and let the gate opens...
